Duties

• Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware (bussing)
• Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of ingredients and equipment
• Support the serving team by delivering food to tables promptly and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Help with kitchen operations during busy periods, including cooking and replenishing ingredients as needed
• Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to uphold guest service excellence and a positive dining atmosphere

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is valued highly
• Familiarity with food handling practices and basic cooking techniques
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus
• Banquet or hotel kitchen experience enhances your candidacy but is not mandatory
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this fast-paced role
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures is highly desirable
• Prior experience in hospitality or guest services can provide a solid foundation for delivering exceptional customer experiences
