• Summary:**Provides general nursing care to patients in Emergency
  
  

Department.

• Education Requirements:**Diploma in Nursing, Associates Degree from
  
  

two year college or Bachelors Degree from a four year college and

successful completion of a prescribed curriculum of study which has led

to licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kansas and gives evidence of

possessing the experience of a licensed nurse on a staff level.

Preferably has at least one year of successful practice in nursing and

has previous critical care related nursing experience. Must obtain

certification in BCLS and ACLS within 1 year, and PALS and Trauma

Nursing Core Course within 2 years.

**Required: CPR; ACLS; PALS; TNCC**
