Summary

Labette Health is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Phlebotomist

/ Lab Assistant to join our laboratory team.

What Youll Do

• Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures on patients of all
  
  

ages

• Accurately label and process specimens
• Prepare samples for in-house testing or send-out to reference labs
• Assist with specimen tracking and documentation in the EMR
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to infection control
  
  

standards

• Provide excellent customer service to patients, nursing units, and
  
  

clinic staff

• Support lab operations as needed
  
  

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Phlebotomy certification a plus
• Previous phlebotomy or clinical experience preferred, but not
  
  

Required

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Calm, compassionate demeanor with patients
