What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remedial System Technician position at LaBella Associates?
We are seeking an experienced full-time Remedial System Technician for our Remedial Construction group.
Duties
- Operation and maintenance of a variety of soil and groundwater remediation systems, including, but not limited to, soil vapor extraction, air sparge, hi vacuum/dual phase extraction, oxygen injection and product recovery.
- Additional duties include installation and decommissioning of systems, performance of pilot tests, site inspections, and soil and groundwater sampling.
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot pumps and electronic controls
- Valid NYS Driver License
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification
- Experience with NYSDEC standby contracts a plus
- Ability to operate heavy equipment a plus
Salary Range: $23 - $30 per hour
