What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Label Graphics?
We seek a Quality Assurance Inspector with at least 1 year of experience in flexo printing for labels or packaging. The inspector will assist the Quality Manager in ensuring timely, accurate, and thorough monitoring and reporting.
Job Duties:
- Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Approve labels and processes before press runs, including proofreading.
- Approve roll end retains saved by press operators.
- Assemble, file, and update color tolerance folders and color consistency files; pull clear overlays before press runs.
- Conduct final inspections before shipping.
- Collect and review information on rejected items.
- Assist in managing the MCC Quality Management System, including document control as needed.
- Participate in improvement initiatives and projects.
Experience/Skills Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 or more years of experience in the printing industry preferred.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes.
- Ability to read rulers and pass a color hue test.
- Detail-oriented.
