Overview
We are looking for a motivated team member to join Lab Pro and play a key role in our next stage of growth. Fast paced and innovative laboratory supply distributor is seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong procurement skills who can lead cross functional initiatives, improve processes, and support new service line expansion. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, execution, scheduling, and risk management for cross departmental projects.
- Drive procurement initiatives including vendor sourcing, purchasing strategies, contract review, and cost analysis.
- Support system upgrades, process improvements, and integration of new business lines and services.
- Build pathways into government and municipal lab contracts and maintain an active bid and RFP pipeline.
- Coordinate closely with operations, warehouse, sales, finance, and IT to ensure project milestones are met on time.
- Create and maintain SOPs that support scalable, repeatable, and efficient processes across the organization.
- Oversee ERP improvements including purchasing workflows, automation, inventory processes, and reporting.
- Support expansion efforts into new distribution territories and explore potential international market opportunities.
- Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures.
- Assist in supplier negotiations and ensure procurement compliance and pricing accuracy.
- Develop, track, and report on project KPIs and operational dashboards.
- Support onboarding of new programs, warehouse optimization initiatives, and customer process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, business, engineering, operations, or related field
- Three or more years of project management or operations experience.
- proficient in suing project management platforms
- Strong procurement and vendor management background.
- Experience with ERP systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, detail oriented, and problem solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management tools.
- Leadership qualities with strong ownership and accountability.

Salary: From $85,000.00 - $100,000 per year Bonus
