LAB Medical is seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Machinist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-precision components used in medical manufacturing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-driven, and takes pride in producing accurate, consistent work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Verify conformance of parts using appropriate measuring tools and inspection methods.
- Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed to maintain part quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production challenges.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and quality standards.
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating and setting up CNC equipment.
- Experience with INTEGREX, MAZAK, and HURCO machines is strongly preferred.
- Programming experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes.
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, visual comparators).
- Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience working in an ISO-certified environment is preferred.
