What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Wrapper position at Laatsch’s Piggly Wiggly?
Meat Clerks are responsible for keeping the pre-packaged meat section well stocked and orderly in appearance. Meat Clerks unload product, stock shelves and build displays; as required, as well as wrap, weight, price and merchandise meat department products. Meat Clerks will maintain a clean work area, follow all safety rules and perform other tasks as assigned. Other tasks to be performed may be in a meat prep area. They must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers. They must adhere to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene.
Meat Wrapper is responsible for receiving, storing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, merchandising and rotating all meat products.
