Summary
A division of Laacke & Joys, LJ Design & Manufacturing is a manufacturer of high-quality custom sewn products for industrial & medical applications. Due to tremendous growth, our team is currently seeking a Production Handworker to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic handwork such as cutting, trimming, gluing, fastening, or material preparation
- Assist with assembly or finishing of products
- Handle and move materials or components as needed
- Inspect work for basic quality and report defects or issues
- Follow standardized work instructions and supervisor direction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and tools
- Support production team with general tasks to maintain workflow
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing or general labor preferred but not required
- Ability to use basic hand tools and follow instructions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand work instructions

- 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 per hour
