La Vie Export & Import is a growing Michigan-based wholesale distributor of authentic Mediterranean & Middle Eastern food products. We connect global suppliers with U.S. retailers, distributors, and foodservice clients through reliable sourcing, compliance, and service. We supply restaurants, grocery stores, specialty markets, bakeries, and food manufacturers with high-quality items including pickles, canned goods, specialty cheeses, chickpeas, flour, spices, olive oil, and more.
We are expanding our sales team and looking for hungry, self-motivated sales reps to grow our customer base across Michigan.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop new B2B accounts by visiting restaurants, grocery stores, ethnic markets, bakeries, delis, and food factoriesPresent La Vie’s product catalog and secure orders for items such as pickles, canned vegetables, feta & specialty cheeses, chickpeas, flour, olive oil, ghee, and spices
- Build and maintain strong relationships with chefs, buyers, and store owners
- Manage your own territory, schedule, and sales pipeline
- Report weekly sales activity and follow up on orders/deliveries with our warehouse team
- Identify new market opportunities and help us expand into new product categories

What You Bring:
1-3 years of outside sales, food distribution, or B2B sales experience required
- Existing relationships in foodservice, grocery, or ethnic markets a major plus
- Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to clients
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-starter who thrives without micromanagement
- Knowledge of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine and products preferred but not required
- Fluent English required; Arabic, Chaldean, or Spanish a plus
