What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tutor position at La Vega Independent School District?
Tutors will work with students individually and in small groups, in grades Pre K thru 12 to provide tutorials, enrichment, and/or college and career readiness under the supervision of the Coordinator and Lead Teacher. Tutors will provide tutoring using High Quality Instruction Materials (HQIM). In addition, the teacher will create a positive learning environment that allows for the students’ personal, social and academic development.
Tutoring may be needed before, during, or after school.
Background checks will be completed by the District for each applicant hired and fingerprinting will be required.
Salary Range - $15 to $35/hour
