Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cocktailing and customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests by serving beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Operate POS system Toast, for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling practices.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage stock effectively to minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations pertaining to food service and alcohol sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while providing change to customers as needed.
- Utilize time management skills to efficiently serve customers during peak hours while maintaining quality service.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and cocktail recipes.
- Familiarity with Toast or other POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
