Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business
• Manage bar inventory, including stock levels of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware; assist with ordering supplies as needed
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to expand our drink menu
• Handle cash processing, credit card transactions, and balancing registers at shift end with precision
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food service during busy periods or special events such as banquets or nightclubs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments; previous bar management experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, brewing processes, and spirits industry trends
• Familiarity with POS systems including Toast for order processing and cash handling
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods; strong multitasking skills are essential
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a hospitality setting
• Experience with beverage recipe development and crafting unique cocktails or specialty drinks
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as change-making, inventory counts, and sales tracking
• Previous experience working in hospitality environments like restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable
• Valid certifications related to responsible alcohol service (where applicable)

Pay: $23.11 - $27.84 per hour
