Responsibilities
- Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards.
- Clear tables promptly and reset dining areas with clean linens, silverware, glassware, and tableware to prepare for incoming guests.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients or plating dishes under the supervision of culinary staff.
- Support catering events and banquet setups by transporting supplies, setting up stations, and maintaining cleanliness throughout service.
- Maintain cleanliness in all food service areas by sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of food handling processes and uphold high standards of hygiene.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety to ensure a secure environment for everyone.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
