Role Description
La Strada Contracting & Pipeline is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grading and Paving Foreman for a full-time, on-site role in Lake Forest, CA. Responsibilities include supervising construction teams, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget, coordinating the operation of heavy equipment, overseeing grading and paving activities, maintaining a safe work environment, and communicating effectively with team members and management. Additionally, the Grading and Paving Foreman will ensure compliance with project specifications and provide hands-on support as needed to maintain high standards of quality craftsmanship.
Qualifications
- Leadership and Supervisory Skills, including the ability to manage and motivate construction teams effectively
- Proficiency in operating and overseeing Heavy Equipment used in grading and paving projects
- Strong Communication skills to facilitate clear collaboration with team members, management, and clients
- Experience in Carpentry and Maintenance to ensure versatile problem-solving and hands-on project support
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction sites
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proven experience in grading, paving, and working with concrete and underground utilities is highly preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
