We are seeking a poised, charismatic, and resourceful individual who can transition seamlessly from a professional concierge to a warm host, ensuring every guest feels like the guest of honor from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities
- The Arrival Experience: Facilitate a seamless check-in and check-out process, managing reservations and room assignments with precision and a welcoming smile.
- Concierge Artistry: Provide expert local recommendations for dining, hidden gems, and cultural events, tailoring suggestions to each guest’s unique tastes.
- Communication Hub: Act as the central point of contact for guest inquiries, managing the switchboard, and coordinating requests between the housekeeping and maintenance teams.
- Financial Integrity: Process payments, manage billing discrepancies, and maintain an accurate cash drawer or ledger throughout the shift.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns with empathy and "service recovery" techniques, turning potential challenges into opportunities for delight.
- Aesthetic Vigilance: Monitor the lobby’s atmosphere—ensuring music levels, lighting, and refreshments are perfectly curated to our brand standards.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in hospitality or high-end customer service. Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) like Opera, ASI, or Cloudbeds is a significant advantage.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to read social cues and adapt your tone.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating various software platforms and troubleshooting basic guest Wi-Fi or keycard issues.
- Flexibility: Availability to work a rotating schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Local Expertise: A deep knowledge of the local area and a passion for sharing it with visitors.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $18-$22 per hour, commensurate with experience.
