LA Semiconductor is hiring part-time Manufacturing Technicians to support our 200mm semiconductor fabrication plant. Youll work in a cleanroom environment helping produce components used in high-tech consumer devices, automotive systems, medical devices, gaming systems, and more. This role is ideal for detail-oriented teammates who enjoy structured, hands-on work and want flexible, part-time hours.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing tools and follow documented procedures to process wafers and produce high-quality products.
- Interface with computer systems (data entry, lot moves, tool status) to complete tasks accurately.
- Collaborate within a self-directed team to meet safety, quality, and output goals each shift.
- Follow Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies; wear required cleanroom PPE (hoods, smocks, boots) throughout the shift.
- Communicate effectively with operators, technicians, and engineers to keep lots moving and resolve basic issues.
- Working in a cleanroom environment with strict gowning and contamination-control procedures.
- Working on a team-based production floor with coordination across equipment technicians, process technicians, and engineers.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- English fluency (written and verbal).
- Ability to work a 7-hour shift in a cleanroom environment while wearing a bunny suit.
- Ability to be on feet for prolonged standing; frequent walking, reaching, and handling of light items.
- Able to lift up to 10 lbs and frequently move it over short distances.
- Strong attention to detail; able to prioritize, multitask, and work independently or in a team.
- Unrestricted right to work in the United States.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Schedule:
Part-time position with 7-hour shifts aligned to the same rotation days as full-time operators.
- Day Shift: 5:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.
- Night Shift: 5:00 p.m. 12:00 a.m.
Day Shifts & Rotation:
- Shift A (Days): SundayTuesday every other Wednesday
- Shift C (Days): Thursday Saturday every other Wednesday
Night Shifts & Rotation:
- Shift B (Nights): Sunday Tuesday every other Saturday
- Shift D (Nights): Wednesday Friday every other Saturday

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly non-exempt
- Shift differentials may apply per company policy.

- On-the-job training is provided. Team members may be cross-trained across multiple operations as business needs allow.
