As a Café Associate, you will be responsible for learning and preparing our signature espresso beverages, serving fresh salads, and delivering exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet customers with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Verify orders for accuracy and ensure a high-quality experience for each customer.
Food & Beverage Preparation:
- Learn and master the preparation of espresso beverages, including coffee, lattes, and other specialty drinks.
- Learn and prepare fresh salads from our menu.
- Ensure the quality and presentation of beverages and food items meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment during food and drink preparation.
Additional Duties:
- Stay focused and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including cleaning equipment and workstations.
- Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
- Adhere to company uniform policy and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere, assisting colleagues when needed.
Job Requirements & Skills:
- Positive, upbeat attitude and passion for customer service.
- Ability to learn and master new skills quickly (including espresso and salad menu).
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Detail-oriented, punctual, and reliable.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Experience in food service or customer service is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person!
