Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they walk in
• Assist stylists with services or other salon tasks as needed
• Maintain salon cleanliness by sanitizing tools, stations, and common areas in accordance with sanitation standards
• Support store management by handling front desk duties including appointment scheduling using salon software
• Promote retail sales by upselling hair products, skincare items, and retail accessories to enhance client experiences
• Manage inventory levels for salon supplies and assist with restocking retail merchandise on the sales floor
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, offering product recommendations, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Qualifications

• Passionate about the beauty industry with a desire to learn diverse skills such as hair styling, shampooing, hair treatments, and color theory
• Prior experience or training in cosmetology or an active license is preferred; enthusiasm to develop these skills is essential
• Familiarity with salon software systems or similar platforms is a plus
• Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in all procedures
• Knowledge of retail math and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
