Position Summary
La Salle University’s Natural Sciences Department has need for a highly qualified adjunct instructor to teach biostatistics and phage genomics courses for Biology majors. These courses are currently scheduled in-person and in the daytime.

Essential Duties
- Teach assigned course(s).
- Prepare course materials consistent with departmental learning objectives.
- Provide timely grading and feedback to students.
- Provide guidance and support to students.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in a biology or related field.
- For teaching biostatistics, proficiency in the R and R Studio software environments.
- For teaching phage genomics, general comfort with using common genomics software tools.
- Knowledge and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching biology courses at the college-level.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours
- The job requires the ability to teach lecture sections in a computer lab.
- The job requires movement around the classroom.
