About the Role
La Salle International Foundation (LSIF) is seeking an Associate to support fundraising, project management, communications, and operational activities for the La Salle Technical Training Institute (LTTI) in Kenya.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Associate will work closely with LSIF staff, LTTI leadership, donors, and partners to advance the mission of providing high-quality technical and vocational education through the global Lasallian network. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to international education, workforce development, and philanthropic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies and annual fundraising plans.
- Research, identify, and cultivate relationships with foundations, corporations, individual donors, and funding partners.
- Support grant writing, funding applications, donor communications, and stewardship activities.
- Coordinate project proposals, funding requests, and reporting requirements with LTTI staff.
- Assist in developing promotional materials, newsletters, website content, and fundraising campaigns.
- Manage and support LTTI social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
- Track donations, donor recognition, and funding disbursements.
- Support database management and administrative operations.
- Collaborate with Lasallian partners throughout North America and internationally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising, administration, operations, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Commitment to supporting the Lasallian Catholic educational mission.
