Part-Time Kitchen AssistantLa Salette Retreat House – Attleboro, MA
La Salette Retreat House is a 50-bed retreat center providing hospitality and full food service for retreat groups throughout the year.
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Kitchen Assistant to support our chef during retreat programs. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a welcoming hospitality environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with food preparation
- Setting up, stocking, and replenishing serving carts and buffet stations
- Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Assisting with meal service and dining room cleanup
- Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Completing assigned tasks as directed by the chef
Qualifications:
- Must be available to work weekends and some weekdays
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for approximately three hours at a time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal directions
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Food service experience is helpful but not required
