What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty – Biology position at La Roche University?
La Roche University is seeking a part-time adjunct for the Biology Department to teach lab courses such as General Biology I Lab. This course will be taught in person on La Roche University’s campus located in the North Hills neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA. An Adjunct is needed for the Fall 2026 semester and will continue as required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Teaching assignments include lecture and utilization of other educational methods, including online learning platforms.
- Evaluation of student progress through coursework, papers, exams, and related assignments; providing appropriate feedback.
- Following established teaching procedures and protocols within the Academic Affairs Division.
Education/Qualifications:
- Master’s in Biology required; Ph.D. in Biology preferred
- Candidates with 1-2 years of teaching experience, specifcally teaching labs, preferred
