La Roche University is seeking qualified candidates for an Adjunct Clinical Instructor position in Obstetric/Maternal Newborn Nursing for our innovative Entry Level Master of Science in Nursing (ELMSN) program—the first such program in Pennsylvania.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Direct, manage, and evaluate student learning during obstetric clinical experiences at local healthcare facilities and the University's Clinical Simulation Center
- Facilitate the development of maternal-newborn nursing skills, standards of practice, and clinical reasoning in labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care settings
- Guide students in providing family-centered care during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period
- Assist students in integrating obstetric theory with clinical practice, specific to course learning outcomes
- Collaborate with course instructors on student learning activities, progress, and concerns
- Support students in developing cultural competence in maternal-newborn care
Education/Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania RN license and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
- Minimum of 2 years obstetric/maternal-newborn nursing experience required
- Clinical teaching experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with high-fidelity obstetric simulation a plus

This is considered an adjunct faculty position. Adjunct faculty are hired for specific teaching assignments and contracts are distributed on a semester-by-semester basis with no guarantee of future contracts.
