What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Customer Service position at La Recette Patisserie?
Front of The House Staff (Part-Time, 5-10 hrs)
We are seeking an energetic individual who is passionate about customer service and our company to fill a service associate position at the store
Responsibilities:
- Must have a good understanding of La Recette Patisserie products.
- Set up and maintain an aesthetically pleasing pastry display.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests to encourage sales and repeat business.
- Ensure all baked goods are stored and packaged properly.
- Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness standards.
- Properly and safely use all equipment.
- Perform standard cleaning chores (washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning work surfaces).
- Perform other necessary duties.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in the food industry or bakery is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of espresso and coffee machines is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and pull 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Apply basic mathematics.
- Multi-tasker, time manager, and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to work weekends and stay extra if needed to complete tasks.
Position Specifics:
- This position is only on Fridays, and weekends.
- Part-time position available (5-10 hrs).
- Available to work early mornings on weekends.
- All new hires complete a fully paid 1-month probationary term.
- Rate is $13 plus tips.
