Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of residential, hotel, or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and precision
Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate maintenance techniques to preserve flooring quality
Manage outdoor work tasks like trash removal, window cleaning exterior surfaces, and maintaining outdoor areas for a tidy appearance
Assist with janitorial responsibilities such as restocking supplies, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly
Support heavy lifting tasks involving furniture or equipment movement while following manual handling safety protocols
Deliver excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and professionally while maintaining a friendly demeanor
Skills
Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and cleaning techniques across various environments
Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently with proper lifting techniques
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled shifts
Familiarity with floor care procedures including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously
Outdoor work experience is a plus for tasks involving exterior maintenance or landscaping support
Knowledge of laundry processes and custodial responsibilities to ensure comprehensive housekeeping services
