Hotel Room Attendant (Housekeeper)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. This role requires a strong commitment to cleanliness, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided to the right candidate. The Hotel Housekeeper plays a vital role in upholding the high standards of our hotel and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
• Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain cleanliness standards
• Ensure public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces are tidy and well-maintained
• Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
• Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
• Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed
• Assist with special cleaning projects such as deep cleans or industrial cleaning tasks when required

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, janitorial services, or industrial cleaning is highly desirable
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus
• Experience in hospitality or housekeeper management roles can be advantageous but is not required
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to custodial work is beneficial

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
