Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team at La Quinta Inns & Suites. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and functionality of our hotel facilities. Your contributions will directly impact our guests' experiences and support our commitment to quality service.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
- Conduct inspections of hotel facilities to identify potential issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS.
- Assist with residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as required.
- Provide leadership and supervision to maintenance staff when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in building maintenance.
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools.
- Strong ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with guests and staff.
- Basic leadership skills with experience in supervising a team preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
