Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests at our hotel or resort, and it requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner, striving for complete guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to assist guests effectively.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced at the end of each day.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
  • Utilize phone etiquette to answer calls promptly and provide information or direct calls as necessary.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
  • Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
  • Proficient in front desk operations and familiar with reservation systems.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, AM, PM and some Overnight shifts. Weekdays, Weekends and Holidays.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing guest information and requests.
