Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive in the breakfast area, providing excellent customer service and answering any questions about the menu or amenities
- Prepare and replenish breakfast items, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure freshness and quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining space by bussing tables, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring the area is tidy and inviting at all times
- Operate food service equipment safely and efficiently, including coffee machines, toasters, and warming stations
- Manage food handling responsibilities with strict adherence to food safety protocols and dietary guidelines
- Assist with setup and breakdown of breakfast buffet or served stations, ensuring proper presentation and replenishment throughout service hours
- Must be able to work independantly with minimal supervision
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety by following cleaning procedures and health regulations at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality roles is highly desirable; kitchen experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities and phone etiquette
- Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and enthusiasm throughout shifts
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and dietary accommodations
- Basic cooking skills including meal preparation, knife skills, meat cutting, and coffee brewing are beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
