Our La Quinta Inn & Suites Yuma is seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team at our resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with warm hospitality and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems, handle guest inquiries, and provide accurate information about hotel services and amenities
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when communicating with guests and vendors
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using hotel management software
- Provide guest services including concierge assistance, luggage handling, and local area information
- Address guest concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience and resolve issues effectively
- Perform night audit duties as needed, including balancing accounts and preparing reports
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a professional appearance
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk experience preferred; hospitality management background is a plus
- Bilingual or multilingual skills highly desirable to assist diverse guests
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and proficiency in multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of hotel operations, resort management, or hospitality industry standards preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts if required
- Professional appearance and positive attitude essential for representing the hotel brand effectively
