Responsibilities

• Perform thorough floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to ensure a spotless environment.
• Handle cleaning tasks across various areas, including guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and service areas, adhering to established sanitation standards.
• Safely manage chemical agents by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks related to cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment to support efficient operations.
• Operate janitorial and industrial cleaning equipment effectively, ensuring all tools are maintained and used safely.
• Support hotel housekeeping management by executing custodial duties that uphold cleanliness standards and contribute to overall guest satisfaction.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are observed during incidents or hazardous situations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services with a strong understanding of sanitation practices.
• Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, floor care products, and cleaning equipment operation.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely and responsibly by adhering to SDS guidelines and chemical handling protocols.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, vacuuming, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is preferred.
• Prior experience in industrial cleaning or hospitality environments is advantageous.

Pay: $12.00 per hour
