We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Houseman to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will support the cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of our property by performing a variety of custodial and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and service spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and chemical agents
• Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture, supplies, or equipment in accordance with manual handling safety standards
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Support hotel housekeeping management by coordinating cleaning schedules and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks
• Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to respond effectively to incidents or safety concerns
• Maintain cleanliness standards by utilizing janitorial experience and industrial cleaning techniques across various areas of the property

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting
• Knowledge of chemical agent handling and safety data sheets (SDS) to ensure safe use of cleaning products
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
• Strong understanding of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet extraction
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and standards
• Experience with hotel emergency procedures to respond swiftly during incidents or safety concerns
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated commitment to hospitality excellence and maintaining high cleanliness standards
