From scheduling to our surgical suite, each member of our facility is passionate about understanding what each family’s vet care needs are.
We are seeking a Veterinary Doctor’s assistant (DA) to join our growing clinic. The ideal candidate is one who loves working as a team player and independently in a fast-paced environment. This candidate must also posses a strong foundation of medical knowledge in order to explain treatments to clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- General nursing care while assisting technicians
- Collect and Record patient case histories upon intake and in exam room
- Presenting and Reviewing treatment plans with pet owners
- Educate pet owners on home care
- Restrain animals for examination/treatment
- Perform In-House diagnostics and X-Rays
- Dispensing and Explaining Medications
- Administer Oral & Subcutaneous therapies
- Triage Urgent & Critical Care patients
-Discharging surgery patients
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 4x10
- Sunday- Monday & Wednesday-Thursday
