Primary Purpose To provide direct instructional leadership, coaching, and administrative support across all grade levels. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the district curriculum, analyzing instructional data, and facilitating targeted professional development to improve teaching effectiveness and maximize student achievement.

Qualifications Education/Certification ● Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or Educational Administration (preferred). ● Valid Texas Principal or Mid-Management Administrator certification (or actively working toward completion). ● Valid T-TESS Certificate or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. ● Valid Texas teacher certification.

Special Knowledge/Skills ● Deep knowledge of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and state assessment systems (STAAR). ● Demonstrated ability to model effective instructional strategies and provide constructive coaching feedback to teachers. ● Strong skills in disaggregating and interpreting academic data (formative, interim, and summative) to diagnose instructional needs. ● Excellent organizational, time management, and presentation skills. ● Ability to collaborate effectively with central office staff, campus principals, teachers, and parents.

Experience ● Three (3) or more years of successful classroom teaching experience. ● Two (2) or more years experience in an instructional leadership capacity (e.g., Department Head, Instructional Coach, Academic Specialist).

Major Responsibilities and Duties

I. Instructional Leadership and Coaching ● Instructional Coaching: Provide regular, targeted instructional coaching and mentoring to teachers across all grade levels (PreK-12), focusing on content delivery, engagement, and classroom management. ● Curriculum Fidelity: Monitor and support campuses to ensure rigorous and consistent implementation of the district-adopted curriculum and pacing guides. ● Professional Learning: Plan and facilitate job-embedded professional learning community (PLC) meetings and specific professional development sessions based on campus needs and instructional data trends. ● Demonstration Teaching: Conduct model lessons and demonstration teaching to illustrate best practices in instruction and assessment.

II. Data Analysis and Intervention ● Data Disaggregation: Lead campus and grade-level teams in analyzing assessment data to identify student strengths, learning gaps, and teacher growth areas. ● Intervention Oversight: Assist in developing and monitoring targeted academic intervention strategies (RtI/MTSS) for students identified as at-risk, ensuring alignment with instructional goals. ● Campus Improvement: Support campus principals and the Senior Director in the development, monitoring, and evaluation of Campus Improvement Plans (CIPs).

III. Administrative and Program Support ● Administrative Duty: Serve as administrative support to campus principals, assisting with duties such as staff supervision, staff meeting facilitation, and parent communication, as assigned. ● Program Compliance: Assist in the oversight of special instructional programs (e.g., Gifted & Talented, Bilingual/ESL) to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and program effectiveness. ● Resource Allocation: Assist campuses in the effective selection, inventory, and utilization of instructional materials and technology resources funded through grant programs.

Supervisory Responsibilities This position includes direct supervisory responsibilities for assigned instructional staff, including performance evaluation and making recommendations for hiring and retention.

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors ● Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions; ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data; maintain flexibility and adaptability across multiple campus environments. ● Environmental Factors: Frequent prolonged sitting and use of a computer; frequent district-wide travel between campuses; occasional prolonged hours. ● Physical Demands: Moderate lifting and carrying (up to 25 pounds) occasionally.

NOTE: This position is fully funded by federal or state grant allocations (e.g., Title I, ESSER, or a state compensatory education fund) and is contingent upon the continued availability of said funding

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59, $73,131.00 per year
