Bar Manager - La Plage Restaurant & Oyster Bar (Westport, CT)
La Plage Restaurant & Oyster Bar is seeking an experienced, polished, and cocktail-driven Bar Manager to lead our beverage program and oversee daily bar operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about handcrafted cocktails, exceptional guest service, and creating a welcoming upscale atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bar operations, setup, service, and maintenance.
- Partner with the Beverage Director to develop and enhance the beverage program.
- Collaborate with the culinary team on food and beverage offerings.
- Lead, coach, and support the bar team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Maintain high standards of quality, service, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of bartending experience, preferably in a casual fine dining or upscale restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, recipes, and ingredients.
- Solid wine knowledge required.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
