Job Summary
Join our team as a Counterperson/Food Runner, where you'll be the friendly face that enhances our guests’ experience through exceptional customer service and efficient food delivery. In this dynamic role, you'll assist customers at the counter, handle transactions, and ensure food orders are prepared and delivered promptly.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and assemble food items following safety and sanitation standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet company guidelines.
- Serve food promptly to customers at the counter or deliver to tables, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage retail sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean work environment to promote efficiency.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, including quick service or fast-food restaurants.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and managing retail math accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Experience with culinary tasks or kitchen operations is a plus.
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
