ensuring full compliance with Massachusetts alcohol service laws and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, train, and mentor the bar team to deliver exceptional service and uphold LPM’s high standards.
- Oversee daily bar operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and ordering.
- Develop and maintain a creative, high-quality beverage program, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety, health, and licensing regulations.
- Collaborate with management on events, promotions, and seasonal beverage offerings.
- Maintain cost controls, track KPIs, and optimize profitability without compromising guest experience.
- Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages professional growth and team engagement.
- Ensure compliance with Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC) regulations.
- Enforce responsible alcohol service, including proper ID verification and legal drinking age requirements.
- Maintain TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification standards for staff.
- Ensure adherence to local health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- 3–5 years of experience in a Bar Manager or senior bar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar operations.
- Experience with inventory management and POS systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
