Duties

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for children in your care
• Supervise children closely to ensure their safety at all times, including during play, meals, naps, and transitions
• Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and respect among children
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and safety standards
• Follow all mandated reporting laws and health guidelines to ensure compliance with licensing requirements
• Support children with special needs or developmental delays by adapting activities and providing individualized attention when necessary

Requirements

• Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) to respond effectively in emergencies
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Strong classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment
• Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration
• Ability to pass background checks and adhere to all safety regulations including mandated reporting laws
• Passion for nurturing children's growth through caregiving, teaching, and play-based learning

Pay: $14.74 - $18.41 per hour

• Our compensation is based on the position, relevant experience, and education. The more experience and education you bring, the higher we may be able to place you within the pay range.

Current pay ranges:

• Assistant Teacher/Teacher: $14.74–$16.08 per hour
• Lead Teacher: $16.56–$18.41 per hour
