Job Overview

The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that supports children with special needs or disabilities.
- Observe and assess children's progress in various developmental areas.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and daily activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall daycare experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Excellent classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Experience in toddler care and infant care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to children's needs.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
