Location: Remote (Los Angeles preferred) We are hiring a high-level YouTube Video Editor who truly understands Gen Z Gen Alpha energy, humor, pacing, and attention spans. Our channel produces challenge videos, experiments, comedic skits, and fast-paced storytelling content. This role requires someone with real creative vision, not someone who only relies on AI tools or generic templates. If you do sloppy cuts, typos, or “AI auto edits,” this is not the job.We want someone who cares, pays attention, and elevates the content with great timing, sound, visual effects and uses non copyright material (or knows how to remove claims). Who We Are Looking For Someone who: Actually gets Gen Z Gen Alpha humor, memes, pacing, and trendsCan build high-energy challenge videos with clean storytelling and maximum retentionHas impeccable attention to detail — no typos, no messy captions, no lazy cutsDoes not rely on AI editing shortcuts — we want real creative skillUnderstands viewer psychology, watch time, and what makes kids/teens keep watchingBrings new ideas, energy, and creativityIs ideally based in Los Angeles for easier collaboration (not required) Responsibilities Edit 8–15 minute long-form YouTube videos (challenges, experiments, narrative-style content)Create high-retention intros and engaging cold opensAdd captions, SFX, memes, and Gen Z-style humorColor correct, audio mix, and deliver polished, professional exportsMaintain a consistent upload schedule with fast but high-quality deliveryFollow brand voice while bringing your own creative ideasCommunicate clearly and professionally (attention to detail is EVERYTHING) Requirements 2 years editing YouTube content (challenge videos or kids/teen content a huge plus)Mastery of Premiere Pro (After Effects a bonus)Strong understanding of Gen Z/Alpha editing stylesExcellent storytelling comedic timingAbility to work fast without sacrificing qualityZero tolerance for typos, sloppy exports, or lazy editingComfortable with feedback and working closely with a detail-oriented creatorLos Angeles based or able to meet in LA occasionally is preferred Bonus Skills Edited for creators with 1M subscribersSlime, science, or challenge video editing experienceSound design motion graphicsCan pitch ideas for pacing, jokes, and visual elementsStrong sense of color, rhythm, and emotional beats This is NOT a corporate editing job. This is fast-paced, imaginative, high-energy YouTube entertainment for Gen Z Gen Alpha. We want someone who cares about the work, thinks creatively, and has the passion to help build something huge. Compensation: $1500 per project currently. At the moment we have been doing 1-2 videos per month. Pay will always go up as the content continues to grow.
