Independent Contractor Sales Agent

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Rep to join our expanding sales team to work in Farmers Markets in big LA area and surrounding cities. Your proactive approach and strong communication skills will be essential in building lasting relationships with clients , ultimately helping our business reach new heights.

We are a fine imports company. We go to Farmers Markets in SoCal, bringing the freshest products to communities around LA. This is a position to work on weekends, rain or shine.

Duties

• Show up on time. Farmers Markets happen Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine starting from 8-9AM until 1-2PM. Arrival time for vendors can be anytime between 6-7:30AM.
• Carry and set up booth according to company's standards.
• Sell products following health code conduct.
• Maintain and return leftover products in good state.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales.
• Being able to lift 50lb.
• Being self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards sales management.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• "Cold calling techniques" (basically being able to draw customer in)
• Must have your own vehicle (SUV, van, any with big cargo space).
• Being 100% fluent in English. Some French knowledge is a plus!
• Must be able to file your own taxes (1099)
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Payment

• Base pay ranges from $200-$250/day $50 for gas compensation
• 10% commission added on top of base pay after reaching sales goal.
