Property Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our apartment park, totaling 265 units. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of the property, manage tenant relations, and maintain the property's value and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the property, including maintenance, rent collection, and tenant relations.
• Attract and educate new tenants in a professional manner.
• Oversee leasing activities, tenant applications, ensuring high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repairs, ensuring the property is well-maintained.
• Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and manage the property’s budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial health.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property and address any issues that arise.
• Negotiate and manage vendor contracts for services like landscaping, cleaning, and security.
• Prepare and present regular reports on property performance and financial status to the owner and the owner’s main office.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Appfolio is required.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective tenant interactions.
• Proven experience as a Property Manager.
• Strong knowledge of property management best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal property regulations.
• Proficiency in Appfolio and Microsoft Office a plus.
