Warranty Parts Return Clerk (19680)

• Receive and track all warranty return parts from technicians.
• Catalog all parts as they come into warranty return area.
• Communicate with warranty departments to determine part return requisitions.
• Take pictures of the returned part and upload to the warranty picture server.
• Package and create shipping labels for parts return.
• Create and maintain a warranty tracker with parts information, tracking number, return date and any other relevant information.
• Ship parts to manufacturer.
• Discard returned parts that don’t require shipping to manufacturer.
• Label and shelf warranty return parts.
• Ensure all warranty parts are rotated in 30- or 60-days intervals.
• Communicate effectively with manufacturer regarding warranty parts.
• Ensure warranty parts are logged and shipped in a timely manner.
• Provide coverage and/or assistance for other service & warranty staff if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Requires ability to hear and speak.
• Requires the ability to work outside of normal business hours or on weekends to meet deadlines on occasion.
• Requires prolonged sitting for up to 8 hours.
• Requires ability to climb or balance, kneel or stoop occasionally.
• Require ability to safely operate equipment with or without assistance.
• Requires ability to visually observes the conditions of surroundings.
• Requires ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift and carry items between 20 and 55lbs often.
• Requires ability to work in varying extreme hot, cold, and wet temperatures on occasion.
