Job Title: Sr. BI Analyst

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Sr. BI Analyst to develop, enhance, and optimize enterprise reporting and analytics solutions that empower the business with actionable insights. This is a hands-on role centered around building high-quality dashboards, scalable data models, and analytics solutions that support decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Power BI. This individual will also play a key role in predictive and prescriptive modeling, maturing data governance practices, and ensuring that enterprise data assets are accurate, trusted, and well-documented.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance reporting and analytics solutions.
• Design and maintain data models, datasets, and visualizations that enable clear, insightful, and scalable reporting.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and end users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Lead data governance activities, including maintaining the enterprise data dictionary in partnership with data stewards.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data used for reporting across the enterprise.
• Utilize advanced SQL skills to support complex data transformations and optimize data sources for Power BI.
• Perform predictive and prescriptive analytics to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Apply strong data visualization and design principles to produce dashboards that clearly communicate insights.
• Review and assess existing legacy reports, identify gaps, and lead modernization efforts for improved clarity and efficiency.
• Mentor junior BI analysts by providing guidance on standards, methodologies, and best practices in Power BI development.
• Collaborate with third-party development partners to deliver scalable and high-impact reporting solutions.
• Leverage an understanding of B2C business processes to create meaningful reporting that reflects customer-centric operations.
• Support enterprise initiatives requiring BI and analytical expertise across cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or analytics roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience developing solutions in Power BI (required).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques.
• Experience building predictive and prescriptive analytical models.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best-practices and dashboard optimization.
• Experience working in a B2C environment is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
