Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli Manager to oversee the daily operations of our deli department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment. As a Deli Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Duties
- Supervise and train deli staff to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Maintain inventory control by ordering supplies and managing stock levels effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food handling processes.
- Oversee the operation of the POS system for accurate transaction processing.
- Develop menus and special offerings to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective team management and communication.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and hospitality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or kitchen management, preferably within a deli or food service environment.
- Strong skills in staff training, team management, and leadership.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in catering and food service.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and inventory management.
