Host, La Maison, Wellen Park
We are looking for an EXPERIENCED host/hostess. As a host you are expected to demonstrate genuine hospitality by welcoming guests into our establishment with a smile, setting the stage for an exceptional dining experience!
You will be expected to be organized and friendly
- Putting our customers at ease during a wait
· Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
- Introducing guests to their server
- Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations
- Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
- Cleaning and sanitizing customer touch points in the restaurant
· Answering phones, and directing the calls in a prompt and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts to optimize table turnover and guest flow
- Answer incoming phone calls with courtesy, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries
- Coordinate with the dining staff to ensure timely seating and efficient table management using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area
- Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously
- Support food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols during guest interactions
