Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Ultrasound Technologist based in Los Angeles, CA. The Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including vascular and general sonography, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate medical diagnosis. The role involves maintaining and calibrating ultrasound equipment, preparing patients for procedures by explaining the process, and collaborating with the medical team to support effective care delivery.
Qualifications
- Certification or eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Expertise in diagnostic imaging, including Radiology and Vascular procedures
- Comprehensive understanding of medical concepts, particularly in the field of Medicine
- Strong attention to detail, excellent patient care skills, and ability to follow safety protocols
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with medical professionals
- Experience in a clinical or hospital environment is preferred
- Associate degree or higher in a related field is required
