Job Summary:
The Creative Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of marketing and creative initiatives. This role bridges the gap between creative teams, marketing stakeholders, and business objectives – ensuring projects are delivered on time, on brand, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Lead end-to-end management of creative and marketing projects (campaigns, digital content, branding, events)
- Develop project timelines, workflows, and resource plans
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities
- Ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison between marketing, design, content, and external vendors
- Translate marketing objectives into clear creative briefs
- Facilitate alignment across stakeholders and ensure clarity on deliverables
Creative Process Management
- Oversee the creative development process from concept through execution
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing assets
- Provide structured feedback loops and approvals
Performance & Optimization
- Track project performance and campaign outcomes
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and output quality
- Use data and insights to inform future creative strategies
Resource & Vendor Management
- Allocate internal resources effectively (designers, copywriters, agencies)
- Manage relationships with freelancers, agencies, and production partners
- Negotiate timelines and deliverables with external vendors
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to balance creative vision with operational execution
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and brand consistency
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline driven environments
- Familiarity with creative workflows (design, copy, video production) preferred
- Knowledge of marketing analytics and performance metrics
- PMP, Scrum, or Agile certification is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- 3 to 7 years of experience in project management within a marketing or creative environment
- Proven experience managing creative campaigns or content production
- Strong understanding of marketing channels (digital, social, email, branding)
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Jira)
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing may be required
- Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures
