Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining and possess a strong understanding of customer service.
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of liquor, glassware, and equipment.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through Toast POS
- Monitor guest consumption levels to ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service during banquets or catering events.
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to maintain high service levels while ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
Skills
- Proficient in Toast systems for efficient order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent sales abilities with a focus on upselling beverages and promoting specials.
- Prior experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
